The world thinks British summers are completely terrible, cold and wet. But this is only due the the British obsession with weather and moaning about it. It's true the last 2 summers have been absolutely awful in terms of rainfall and flooding, but the British summer is generally not that bad at all. Apart from the last couple of freak wet ones, really love the English summer and its such a beautiful country in summer. The thing about the British weather is that it can be very surprisingly changeable and we often get our best days late spring and early autumn (fall). I know many parts of the US and Europe are worse and the average rainfall in Seattle and Paris for example is actually much higher.
