The volume slider is a bit problematic. Just saw a video of the sonos app and it seems to have the same issue. As does Apples iTunes remote. Seems to be an issue with the default slider control. For some reason the iPod app doesn't show this, I suspect it doesn't use the control, as generally the iPod app does not conform to Apple's UI standards. Anyway, iPeng 1.0.3 has a fix that should significantly improve the slider response.
