Hi Everyone,

I've searched the forums but I don't really see people discussing this
exact issue.

I'm using iTunes 8.0.2 with SC 7.3.2 on Windows XP. I have a pretty
big iTunes Library (about 64k songs). I want SC to rescan my iTunes
library periodically for new and changed music.

It's unclear whether I should use:
a) The "iTunes Reload Interval" feature on the "iTunes" tab (e.g. 2880
minutes) or
b) The "Rescan Music Library" feature on the "Advanced" tab (e.g. 2
days)

Question 1: What is the difference between these two features? Which
should I use. Which deals better with artwork?

Question 2: How in the world do I get it to *not* rescan ALL ARTWORK
each time? The artwork part of the scan takes almost an entire day.
Shouldn't it be able to scan the artwork once, and then only add the
new/changed artwork on each periodic scan?

I actually let it finish once... so I had all the artwork - hooray!
But of course, on the next scan, it blew away all the artwork and
started from scratch.

Thanks for any advice on this topic.
