Unfortunately this is a common practice among many online retailers. One of the tricks to getting you to their site and order from them is to post very low prices for the searched item, but then insist you "contact them" to confirm your order. When you do call them they try to sell you *extras* like extended warranties and will even try to sell you accessories that should be included with the original item.
