Any movement on this? My wife really likes Genius mixes so it would be good to get them working simply. I used to have Music IP on our PC based system but since that died and we switched to mac i haven't tried setting it up and the comments on this thread have put me off.
My own experience of Genius is that it's rather limited. It works on my iPod as well as the mac so have used it a lot now. in my view: - it delivers the same (must be highly rated in some way) songs again and again (Autumn Sweater by Yo La Tengo comes up in so many mixes of mine I'm getting sick of it) - it tends to deliver the common rather than more obscure track by artists (ie gives singles not album tracks) - heavily waited towards year (60's songs beget other sixties songs, 80's more 80's).
