That makes it so much simpler!!!
OK, so now I think I'm going mad! I've been entering the details as you've all suggested but it's just not working!! I've entered the following: IP Address: 192.168.2.6 (I picked .6 because I had all the other ones up to that, keeping it nice and neat) Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1 DNS Primary: 68.87.64.204 DNS Secondary: 68.87.66.204 When I do that, it just won't connect to the internet. I have to keep switiching back to 'Obtain IP Address Automatically' to get back online. I did try re-starting the computer after I had changed it one time and that didn't help. Do I need to re-boot the router or modem as well? -- LiggySasha ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LiggySasha's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18906 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61709 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
