No multiroom amp. Heck, not even an amp anymore. A Squeezebox in every room connected to active speakers. That way, you can control all your SBs separately or in sync using your controller and active speakers come in every price and quality range these days, from simple PC speaker to high-end monitors that will (IMHO) beat your HiFi amp/preamp setup.
