I was not talking about guitar amps, but hifi amps. Not that it matters. I have tube guitar amps too. I happen to prefer the sound of both to the solid state alternatives, even the ones that attempt to mimic the valve sound. It's a personal thing. As is my belief that products should be built to last. Not that I get too attached to them you understand.
