If the problem goes away when wiring the system, is not a wifi problem anyway then ? not necessarily signal strength or quality maybe some kind of basic router incompatibility ? If you file your case in the bug make sure to include all your details regarding router and type of security and it's settings WPA, WEP and so. If it is a problem with the SqueezeBox it might not be SqueezeCenter maybe player firmware ? If it's still buffering when using cables SqueezeCenter is a possible source of problem especially if it can be shown that older versions works ok with the same computer. Btw is the server also hardwired.
