I do not know whether my comments help this discussion or not but I want to post it anyway. I have a transporter in the living room and a SB3 in the garden. They both run wireless but the SB3 gets its signal from a wireless range extender. Normally I have no issues with either players. However, recently I tried to synchronize the players. On the SB3 every track started by rebuffering and it was a pain. To solve it all I did was turn off the synchronization.
