I was responsible for the new-streaming work in SC 7.3. Although a lot of code changed, I cannot think of anything that would impede the streaming of local FLAC tracks. I have been over the code several times. It is clear that some people are seeing issues that were not there before. Despite significant investigations, we are no closer to understanding why.
