Aside from the fact that I've managed to offend you (which I am sorry about), I am actually satisified with the level of attention this issue is recieving inside Logitech SMBU. As to whether there is a formal, automated test that allows these matters to be readily investigated (e.g. find the bandwidth constriction breaking point of 7.3.3 and compare it to the breaking point if 7.2.1), I don't think so, based on the methods that have been used to investigate other streaming related bugs (see https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9393#c24 ).
