Got it working. Installing AlienBBC and mplayer helped, now this stream is also playing on Softsqueeze.
Thanks again for the hint! -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Tobias Rittel Gesendet: Dienstag, 8. Dezember 2009 18:57 An: discuss Betreff: Re: [slim] Radio URL Well, you´re right. I´m sorry but my last tests were with Squeezeslave, and there for sure I don´t see anything on the player. Using Softsqueeze, it says "file type cannot be played" (or something like this, I translated). Because I´m running my Squeezeserver on a CentOS Linux machine I should be able to add WMA support? Any suggestions? Thank you very much for the quick help Tobias -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: bpa [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Dienstag, 8. On Windows WMA transcoding support is standard and so software players can play WMA streams. On Linux and OSX you need additional app but this is not available on most ReadyNAS models. I would have expected the "Unable to play" message to be displayed when using Softsqueeze. Are you really using Softqueeze and not Squeezeplay ? In summary - you would not have this problem with a hardware player. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72375 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
