Wrong comparison. The $350 ZP90 competes exactly with the "non static IP configuring...SB(R)" since it - doesn't support static IP addresses - actually it doesn't even support wireless access, you need to wire it or you need an additional $100 Zone Bridge - You can't really use it without the $350 controller - It doesn't have a display, which is the most expensive part of the SB3. Also, you don't pay $300 for an SB3, don't you?
