Thanks for correcting my statements.

So the facts are:

SB Classic will be sold till warehouses are empty and its successor is
the Touch. Which seems to be more expensive, but thats only the MSRP
which is higher than the SB Classic which is available since a while.

SB Touch has more features than Classic but will be sold when the
firmware is done and till now no ETA available?!

The SB Receiver is still separately available without the SB
Controller.

Questions:

Can I use a SB Receiver as a standalone internet radio solution if I
have a ipod touch/ iPeng or Android device/squeeze commander device?

Or which SB would recommend rather than that?
