I don't think Logitech can crush rumors. Look at the huge thread started when someone thought he heard some low-level Logitech employee say that Receiver was discontinued -- even having senior Logitech Squeezebox staff very clearly say that they're manufacturing more units wasn't enough to quell the rumors and suspicions. Boom's not discontinued yet, sounds great, and Logitech has a very good track record of supporting older gear.
