Switching between two different network names requires your Boom go through the complete Network Setup routine. Boom will keep your WEP settings so you should not have to re-enter that.
As suggested, most who use multiple Wifi routers in their home have the same SSID for both (avoiding "setup" each time). I'd also seriously consider updating your encryption to WPA.
