No, we are talking about the limitation that for some reason nobody designing DLNA had the idea that the control point would not be either on the renderer or on the server. Timing never works well with DLNA which is why I believe there is no DLNA controlled player supporting gapless and also it obviously didn't occur to the designers of that standard that a CP Might nit be permanently running. In at least 99% of the implementations you can't even run a playlist as soon as the CP is gone. It's designed with the idea of a Windows PC controlling a TV in mind and that's where it works.
