I was using a Boom when the error occurred, but I just tried again and it worked fine this time, so I guess it was just a temporary glitch with last.fm. If it ever happens again, I'll let you know. This just made me realize that I could now theoretically control music playback on my iPad (or, indeed, my HiFi if I use AirPort) from the SqueezeCommander App on my Android phone (if I ever absolutely wanted to).
