Your SB3 getting firmware every time it switches between MySB.com and SBS server is normal, it is only doing what it is designed to do. Your SBS server and MySB.com server are running two different firmware versions and the player is detecting this difference. You can turn this off on an SB3 by going to Setup (press & hold the left arrow), scroll to Automatic Updates = NO
