I don't see this is a real problem. Just use squeezepad to wake up all your devices and then swap to the logitech app - oh and I guess you may need to swap back to shut everything down when you have finished? One of of my concerns has been that the enthusiast developers of the existing apps might at some point lose interest / move on to other things for one reason or another. So having a proprietary offering is comforting. However the beauty of squeezepad, which is all I have experience of, is that it improves the usabilty no end. It brings everything together on 1 screen and integrates your own library with external content. It's a much more intuitive experience. The logitech offering seems a direct port of their terribly outdated looking pc software.
