How are you measuring/detecting "flooding" vs normal traffic ? You need to identify the cause of the flood as it might not be a single device but a clash of devices/systems causing the problem. When next flooding event happens - disconnect each network device in turn leaving SB3 and server until last. Leave some time between each disconnect as it may take a minute or so if devices are clashing.
