IME balanced operation yields far more improvement than any amount of fiddling about with exotic interconnects or jitter reduction.
But of course it's perfectly possible to team up a Touch with a DAC that has balanced outputs (Benchmark, Lavry, etc). Don't get me wrong, I love my Transporter, but it is now a legacy product.
