I see the same trends with my friends and acquaintances, as well as my own listening. I think many of the "audiophile" SB customers (I don't qualify myself) too quickly dismiss the offered online content with a "who needs it" attitude. Well, the majority of customers want it and SB needs it to stay relevant in the streaming hardware market. The mass production of these players keeps the per unit price *very* reasonable. Take away such services and your unit sales will plummet, making a Touch player much more expensive and eventually dropped by Logitech (or whoever) all together as an under performer in their product offerings.
