Hi All, Just wanted to buzz in here. I have download the App including the iPad playback, and YES, I think I have found the solution that I have been looking for .. and I have been looking for about 8 months
Main requirements 1. being able to use Lastfm scrobbling 2. having good sorting features Equipment I had until about a week ago 1. ONKYO DLNA NR708 2. B&W Zeppelin Air with AirPlay 3. Synology DS211 with Media Server & DLNA features 4. 2 x iPad app from Synology, which works great to stream from DS211 to DLNA ONKYO Disadvantage: no solution to do LastFm scrobbling which was annoying to me. I use lastfm a lot ot read up on bands & similarities. So these are my additions this week 5. Apple TV2 connected via HDMI to my ONKYO 6. Updated Logitec Package for Synology : Logitech Squeezebox Server 7.7 7. SqueezePad app with iPad playback pluggin And now this is how I play my music and with the features I want Music on DS211 -> Logitech Squeezebox Server -> SqueezePad -> Airplay -> ATV2 -> ONKYO ! And this gives me lastfm scrobbling that I was looking for. And on top: it gives me the lastfm information straight from within the app ! WOW ! just super ! More testing to come ! One question for the SqueezePad developper: how can I do the following? iPad 1 -> using Airplay to Stream to B&W Zeppelin Air (with Airplay features) iPad 2 -> using Airplay to Stream to ATV2 (with Airplay features) I have installed the app on both iPads, but they always seem to be in Sync. I would like to have these 'uncoupled' to stream to 2 seperate Airplay devices? Can you explain how this can be configured ! Great work and happy to have spent this money.
