Just to echo others' comments, I've seen an massive slow-down in browser response with 6.2.
It is taking 10-15 seconds to navigate between browser pages and the search function is taking 30-40 seconds to return results. I'm running OSX 10.4.2 on a 1.42 GHz Mac Mini / 1G RAM - the Mac is only used for Slimserver - I've got 400 albums / 4400 tracks so not a large collection compared to some. I run Music Magic Mixer but don't use iTunes or other third party plug-ins. Both Safari and Firefox seem equally slow. I'm using the Default skin. The Mac CPU doesn't seem to be maxing out - when doing a search or moving between browser page the perl process seems to tick away at around 10% CPU I ran a lot of the 6.2 nightlies and don't remember the browser response being this slow before - in particular seach used to be really quick.
