I don't think Logitech need to fear. There have been SB-alikes around
for a while, from Softsqueeze to 'hacked Jogglers'
(http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78759). Some of them
make great casual or hobby players, but none have the reliability or
simplicity of dedicated hardware. In fact I think the SB ecosystem from
having them available.
