Yes thats a culture difference apple is all for the "just works" solution . logitech do try preserve the signal integrity/quality as far as possible transcoding is done to equal formats preserving the bit-perfectness whenever possible and so on . But if you regard that 99% of the user base for an atv would accept any soundquality as long is something comes out of the box a one size fits all solution is prefered by apple any added complexity is not wanted, transcoding -settings- huh ?
