I have attached screen dumps of the Avanced/File type setting of both the DS207+ and the DS212+. I must admit that I have no knowledge of these things whatsoever, but for me as a simple user it look as if faad/flac is installed on both machines. What is obvious in the comparison is that MP3 can not be set in the DS212+. I assume now that squeeze player does function with the DS207+ because of the faad/lame, which is not present in the DS212+. PS: the DS207+ is 5 years old with only 128Mb memory, The DS212+ has 512Mb. Also processors are different, but Synology refuses to publish those in their datasheets. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: compare 207+ vs 212+.pdf | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=13196| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- pz1 My system: LMS 7.7.1(rc1) on Diskstation DS207+ (DSM3.1-1594) via SSODS4.9.1mod2 (by j-r) 1 x Logitech Radio, 1 x Touch ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pz1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=51957 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94280 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
