During power up LMS just checks that there is a faad and flac that is
marked executable but sometimes although they are marked executable
they are incompatible. To eliminate this possibility you should check
if faad and flac can run. Try the following command from a shell
prompt - in both cases you should get a message indicating the command
line options.
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Bin/faad -h
/volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Bin/flac -h
