I have the same requirements, local playback via LMS, Pandora and local radio stations. I do love my Touch since I can turn on my system, and have the Touch is right there to start music playback at CD quality via my Flac files. I dont want to turn on my TV, find some remote and navigate a menu system. Very sad by this news.
