I am curious, though, about how squeezeserver works. I have the impression that when streaming an Internet radio source, each squeezebox/squeezeplayer/squeezethingy creates its own independent stream to the source -- that the original source is not first sent to the squeezeserver and then to the clients. Is that accurate? If so, I am curious, are various internet streaming protocols synchronized differently than when the squeezeserver is serving the content from its libraries? I think that 99.99% of the times I see the buffer underruns it is with Internet radio sources, but I can't recall ever seeing buffer underruns when streaming from the music library of the squeezeserver. I dunno. It's aggravating, because when it is working well on a good android device, squeezeserver is wonderful, (but I have a bunch of cheapo android devices laying around I would like it work better on.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ja2038's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40583 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87364 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
