You might also suggest to them that the player support ReplayGain tags (album or track) and even better use something like SmartGain in the LMS (that is, if one is playing an entire album, it uses ALBUM RG tag and if one is playing songs from different albums (random or playlist) it uses TRACK RG tag, and all this is done automatically.
