Must admit I think this would be a distraction for this effort.  It will
require significant additional software as LMS and the current players
don't support it.  At present I'm afraid I would like to concentrate on
getting good/execellent quality two channel audio working for as many
people as possible.  This is not to say that we couldn't do something to
create a multi-channel device, but that I don't think we should make it
a goal of our initial hardware and software scope.
