Hi Darren

Let me offer you a solution.

Load Automator in Applications. Choose 'Application' for your new
document. Type into the search actions box: 'run shell script'. 

Type in the script:

export USEPADEVICE="XMOS USB 2.0 Audio Out"
export USEPAMAXSAMPLERATE=192000
open /Applications/SqueezePlay.app

Save the file. It is now an application like any other - you can
double-click to run, put it on the dock, etc. To give it the Squeezeplay
icon, locate the real Squeezeplay in Finder and select Get Info - click
on the icon to highlight it, then copy and paste it into the Get Info of
your newly created app.
