Since the server is down, I have already analyzed at least 600 new tracks from newly ripped CDs using MusicIP Mixer, as can be downloaded at http://www.amplifindmusicservices.co.../downloads.php. I have a license - I do not know whether this matters. The analysis processing can be started in the GUI under "Library". When the server is down one has to confirm that the analysis is indeed to be effected. Since I have a quite powerful system (Intel Xeon X3210 4-core CPU at 2,13 GHz) the analysis without server is fast enough for incrementally increasing music library. Redoing the analysis for my complete library (currently about 80000 tracks) would take too long, however. Therefor the MusicIP database is automatically backuped regularly. According to my workflow I do not use embedded meta data in my FLAC files. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Otto-Wilhelm's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33332 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99235 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
