No. The only issue in interfence/contention on the channels.

Additionally, there is overlap between the various channels in the
2.4GHz band ('802.11b/g') so, for example, channels 1 and 2 interfere
with one another. As a result, the usual practice in a large
installation is to use only three of these channels: either 1, 6 or 11.

No. This entire bit of the spectrum is unlicensed and unregulated, so
any domestic device which uses it (bluetooth devices, microwave ovens,
baby alarms, and so on) can be doing more or less anything.
