Hi indifferent engine, the only change in this new version is the added link to the Squeeze Control App.
Did you change your usage of SqueezePlayer? Indeed it's one of the programs that will consume some more battery than other Apps while its running. For instance it prevents the WiFi to shut down or go into a lower energy state, which is why the App shuts down after 15minutes when nothing is playing.
