Hmmm, if these are true static IP addresses (vs reserved IP addresses),
the DCHP part of router should be irrelevant.  I too use true static IP
addresses (outside the DHCP range) for my players and server.  Something
has obviously gone wrong with your player's IP addresses in the
system....  This is good news as you're starting to get closer to the
source  of the problem with this info.
