I was wondering a bit about that, too. The Wandboard doesn't seem to
enjoy quite the popularity of other ARM-based hobbyist boards. Could
that project just fold up one day, before this project is finished?

That's a good question. I don't think it's looking like 2014 is even
remotely possible, given the progress so far. The way it's looking, I'd
be a little surprised (but happily so) to see anything finished in
2015.

This is why I'd love to see someone like John push a manufacturer to not
just help with distribution, but to take up the reigns and really design
a full commercial replacement for Squeezebox.
