I searched and haven't found anyone mentioned this specifically. I'm wondering why don't people just use an android media player for squeezebox replacement.
For example: http://www.amazon.com/G-Box-Midnight-MX2-Android-Streaming/dp/B00CH643A8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410459605&sr=8-1&keywords=android+media+player http://www.amazon.com/Keedox%C2%AE-Android-Player-Netflix-YOUTUBE/dp/B00F4SEOIW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1410459605&sr=8-2&keywords=android+media+player I have an earlier version of the G-Box Midnight. I just buy SqueezePlayer for a couple of dollars and setup Startup Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=imoblife.startupmanager) to start SqueezePlayer every time the player starts. And I don't even have to turn on my TV. It has worked for me very well. Obviously, it's not as elegant as Squeezebox. But it works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ yxz11's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61641 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102125 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
