Good suggestions IMO. Much cheaper than a phone or tablet, especially if you don't need the screen on the player device. I set a friend up with Logitech Music Server some months ago exclusively so he could play his server-side music collection on his iOS devices. He's loving "Squeezebox" style music streaming without owning even one legitimate Squeezebox device.
