Oliver reported, that once you have it connected via WiFi (and SqueezePlayer was able to detect the server), you can switch back to Ethernet. SqueezePlayer will then use the remembered server address. So looks right now that on Amazon Fire TV: - the settings screen does not work - the autodetection only does work via WiFi Here is a blog post about automatically starting SqueezePlayer: http://www.squeezeplayer.com/2013/05/start-squeezeplayer-on-startup/ If you do it the "Tasker" way, you also won't see the "enable WiFi" message, as the App is only started in the background.
