I'm sort of hoping for a dual-purpose use of the Chromecast. Use it as a Player with LMS for regular stuff, like webradio or local content where the LMS Server - Client setup is best suited, and cast directly to the Chromecast Audio from within a supported app for stuff like Play Music that isn't properly supported on LMS. Sort of "best of two worlds" solution... ;)
Also never forget, that even as a pure LMS Player the Chromecast Audio is a powerful, yet cheap and energy efficient device, that can replace the current Raspberry Pi + Addon Board + Wifi system many of us are using at the moment. I'm looking forware to seeing what bpa nd philippe can dig rig up. Maybe Google will even make the CA dlna compatible.
