Sort of "best of > two worlds" solution... ;)
While using it as a player for LMS is OK but after that I'm confused - you need to spell this out much much clearer. I don't know what would use to control this Chromecast player and how it will be used - you need to describe your ideal user experience in detail. > I'm looking forware to seeing what bpa nd philippe can dig rig up. As I said in my post - the aim was to ground solutions in reality. I think mixing Chromecast with DLNA is a waste of time and unlikely as it would be supporting a "competitor's" solution as uPNP was an initiative promoted by MS and Intel. This is the world of commerce - think real world.. Neither Google or Apple are members of DLNA. Chromecast does not support WMA formats or Airplay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104383 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
