MQA is hi res streaming, and not the same as hi-fi subscription, that is 16/44. It is mayby wrong to call it a new format, as it's Flac. Early adopting would benefit those that would like to stream hi res and Tidal. And yes, very unique, as only a few media players would have this option I guess. Maybe only Auralic.
