If the laptop is capable make it use N band and 5 GHz ? Leave the 2,4 Ghz N + g for lesser devices like squeezeboxes :) , just make sure the wifi b is turned off .
Google our laptop or wifi chip to see if some new Windows drivers are aviable ?
