I did a search for switches many months ago and TP-LINK were having problems with whinny sounding power supplies. I wonder if the routers are the same? (I really don't expect you to know that, that's sort of rhetorical)
By the way... Do most people around here (who use wired connections) use wireless routers? I notice there aren't an abundance of wired routers out there for a decent price. There's Ubiquiti, but well... So perhaps I'll just get a wireless with at least 4 ports. Is there a way to disable the wireless component?
