I didn't find anything particular in your scanner.log except that it found about 20k new/changed track on one drive, while it removed about the same number from a folder on a different drive. Might be totally unrelated, but anyway.

You should at least try the clear & rescan option every now and then. The more brutal method would be to shut down LMS, then delete library.db from the LMS cache folder.

BTW I have this as a stable setup for over a year and it has worked very
well.  Without the RAM disk, the "new music" function would be pretty
useless.

I hope you've set the memory usage to "maximum" (settings/advanced/Performance)?
