Did you get the 7.9.1 update? If so, I may not fully understand your problem and keep in mind that my software skills are very limited so I don't think I can offer further assistance, perhaps others with more knowledge can assist or perhaps you should post the question on the Vortexbox user form. Provided that you are connected to the internet, on my Vortexbox I just type in the Vortexbox IP address in Microsoft Edge and the Vortexbox GUI comes up, at this point I just click on the Squeezebox Server icon and the Logitech server (LMS) starts up. I don't have to sign-on to LMS other than the one time during initial set-up. In any event LMS should start as far as I know. Sorry I can't be of further assistance.
